Therapy

  • Schema Therapy is a specialised and evidence-based integrative and relational therapy developed to treat a range of adult mental health, relationship and intimacy issues and self-sabotaging life traps. It also aims to strengthen one’s healthiest self.

  • EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of psychotherapy that helps people process and recover from distressing events and trauma. It works by using a person's eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional intensity. It is recognized as an effective treatment by organizations like the NHS and WHO.

  • Bespoke therapy means taking the time to develop a deep understanding of your experiences, difficulties, and goals so that we can work collaboratively to create a plan that feels right for you. One of the great strengths of psychological therapy is its flexibility – the beauty of psychology lies in being able to integrate different approaches to best meet your needs. This might mean using Schema Therapy and EMDR in an integrated way, or drawing on elements of one or both alongside other evidence-based approaches. My practice draws on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Systemic Therapy to ensure that our work together is tailored, responsive, and meaningful to you.

  • I reserve a small number of clinic spaces at a reduced fee of £80 for emergency service workers seeking trauma-focused therapy.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a vital part of professional practice, providing a safe, structured space for reflection, growth, and development. It supports reflective practice, enhances clinical skills, and helps practitioners manage the emotional and ethical demands of their work.

I provide clinical supervision to psychologists, psychological therapists, and teams. My approach is collaborative and thoughtful, drawing on principles of Schema Therapy to deepen understanding of ourselves and the way we work. Recognising the individuality of each practitioner, I tailor supervision to support your ongoing professional development and wellbeing. I am registered with the Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) under the British Psychological Society (BPS) and can offer supervision to both forensic psychologists in training and qualified practitioners.
