Bespoke Assessments
Therapy can feel like a big commitment and it isn’t always the right step for everyone. Perhaps the timing isn't right, costs might be a barrier, or maybe your circumstances make it difficult. However, you might have reached a point where something doesn't feel right, and you want to understand it.
My bespoke assessment package mirrors the early stages of therapy. Over the course of 2 to 4 sessions I can help you understand what you're struggling with, placing your difficulties in the context of your life without committing to longer term work.
Perhaps you want clarity around a diagnosis. Perhaps you want to understand patterns in your thinking or behaviour that keep repeating. Or perhaps you're simply looking for practical guidance to support change. This service is for you.
You'll come away with a formulation - a clear understanding of what's driving your difficulties - along with treatment recommendations, and access to self-help resources I've created to support you on your own path towards change.
A bespoke assessment package might include…
-
In-depth diagnostic assessment
for people who want a clearer answer, whether that's confirming PTSD, understanding traits associated with a personality disorder, or finally having a name for something you've lived with for a long time.
-
An assessment of cognitive functioning
to understand your thinking skills, such as memory, attention, and problem-solving.
-
A detailed exploration of your life history and experiences
with a view to developing a psychological formulation that offers insight into the difficulties you are facing.
-
A focus on your personal goals
with tailored recommendations for therapeutic support or self-directed strategies that suit your unique context.
-
Individualised psychoeducation materials
offering clear, accessible information about your difficulties and how to manage them.
-
A comprehensive psychological report
which brings together all findings and can be adapted for clinical, legal, occupational, or personal use
